About Aisha

Hi, there! It is nice to meet you. I am Aisha. I was born in Kolkata, West Bengal in India. I moved to the US during my teenage days, along with my family. I grew up in Edison, NJ. I have been in NJ for most of my life. After Girish and I got married in 2012, we moved to Jersey City. For last 10+ years that we have been married, we have spent most of those years in Jersey City.

I am very close to my family and friends. I cherish quality time with my family and my friends, and that's mostly what we do over the weekends. Both Girish and I love to travel so any chance we get we try to head over to another country. I still remember this one trip in Brazil where we took an organized tour and the guide asked us what we love as a fun fact. Girish's quick response was of course "wife" and, even though Girish went before me, my response was "traveling." This was in our first year of marriage - 9+ years later Girish still loves to share the story.

I majored in Journalism in college. Since graduating, I have been working at Bloomberg in sales. I started my career in selling the core terminal, then switched into Data and today I am the Chief Relations Officer for all of Americas. I absolutely love my job. The job can be demanding at times, but I love the fact that no 2 days are the same.
